Exciting!!

Overall, in my opinion, this was the best audiobook in the series. My heart was pounding. It was a great listen!!

Amazing!

Amazing as usual! Hooked to all Anna’s series! Love everyone of her books and feel like I know each of her anazing characters!

Entertaining!

This is the third book in the Unbroken Heroes, a Romantic Suspense. I love this series! Lorenzo/Ren and Halle's story is entertaining and action packed. John Lane and Stella Bloom did an outstanding job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. If you like Romantic Suspense, this series is for you!

the excitement of the story

I loved the book although there was too much detailed sex (ok, call me old) but a little goes a long wayd.....

A fun and exciting tale!

This audiobook includes a lot of action! From the initial attack before the Atalanta research vessel even leaves the harbor, until its arrival in Hawaii, one thing after another happens to the folks on this ship. Ren Santoro has been drawn to Halle Bradshaw for a few years. They shared a kiss on her 20th birthday, and Ren has been avoiding Halle ever since, because of the ‘bro code’—he’s best friends with her father, who was his mentor when Ren needed it the most. He feels disloyal to her dad, and he feels unworthy of Halle because of all the dangerous things he had to do in his career as a Navy SEAL and a Ghost Ops operative. Avoiding her is the safest course, except it’s hard to do that on a ship in the ocean, since she’s onboard as the marine biologist for a secret project for the Navy.

Nearly every chapter includes something exciting that happens in this audiobook. Putting it down is challenging, so just plan to listen to it straight through to the end. It’s not a long story, but a lot happens. There are bad folks involved, but even when things look hopeless, Ren is a very capable partner for Halle. There’s a good chance that we meet the next hero to be featured in an upcoming book at the end of this story, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see. All-in-all, this audiobook is exciting, fast-paced, and fun! The narration is top-notch and read by dual narrators. They bring the story to life in a wonderful way, and the conclusion is awkward in places, but fantastic!

Not as good as the first two

The first book was very well written the second one was pretty good just as good as the first one, but this third one lacked the depth that the other two had

The Persistence of Fate

Ren tried to run from Hallie for years Because she was his best friend and mentor’s daughter. But Hallie knew he was the one for her and refused to give up and fate is a persistent mistress. You can only run so long! I loved the story, the heat and the narration. I can’t wait for Sawyer’s story

Loved Ren & Halle

Another action packed story in Anna Hackett’s The Unbroken Heroes series. It was great to see Ren and Halle finally get their HEA after running for their lives from the bad guys. Great narration.

Ren and Halle have explosive chemistry

As always Anna delivered a fast-paced, quick, action, danger, and edge of your seat suspense fueled story. Ren and Halle have explosive chemistry, even if Ren would rather fight it. But you know how those tough guys are... once danger stalks the woman they love all bets are off and passion ignites. Loved seeing cameos from some of the other guys I love from Anna's stories. Narrators did great bringing the story to life.

Narrators Performance

I especially found the female narrator to be too melodramatic for my tastes. I enjoyed the book much better than the audiobook.
