Publisher's summary

Gage McCarthy is the bravest boy I know. He's intelligent, confident, and downright cocky. So, when he comes up with a plan to break into the old Moss Street Mansion, how could I possibly say no?

He's been my best friend since kindergarten, but lately, something has changed. Our once carefree moments of fun now are filled with awkward pauses and forlorn stares. I can tell something is on his mind. However, getting him to say it won't be easy unless something scares it out of him.

Join best-selling author Daniel Elijah Sanderfer for this sweet and funny, gay young-adult romantic comedy short story about finding courage and being yourself.

Cute and quick.

Quick little read about 2 best friends who finally realize their feelings for each other, with a little help from the spirit of Halloween.

The narration was okay, but it was hard at times to differentiate which character was speaking. I thought the narrator sounded age appropriate, I just wish the voices of the characters were a little better developed.
