About this listen

With his notorious reputation for trickery and deception, and an ability to cause as many problems as he solves, Loki is a Norse god like no other.

Demon-born, he is viewed with deepest suspicion by his fellow gods who will never accept him as one of their own and for this he vows to take his revenge. But while Loki is planning the downfall of Asgard and the humiliation of his tormentors, greater powers are conspiring against the gods and a battle is brewing that will change the fate of the Worlds.

From his recruitment by Odin from the realm of Chaos, through his years as the go-to man of Asgard, to his fall from grace in the build-up to Ragnarok, this is the unofficial history of the world's ultimate trickster.

This beautifully written account of Scandinavian myths from the perspective of Loki, the trickster of the gods is clever, funny and provides a wonderful perspective to these stories and characters.

His unique view of what happens is refreshing and I enjoyed this book in print as much as I did the audio book.

Well researched but fresh and so much fun.

I couldn't stop listening for a single moment, the story was so well written and I loved the almost modern way of retelling the old mythology, it was nail-bitingly exiting at some points and hilarious at others, and I absolutely loved every second of it.
also the narrator made the entire experience even more thrilling and fun to be honest, 5 stars all around!

Breathtaking!!
