About this listen
The bank is eroding. The barriers are thinning. And time is running out. The hourglass door has closed behind Dante, sending him back in time to hunt down Zo, Tony, and V. Although giving him up was the hardest test she ever faced, Abby knows that Dante is the only one who can stop the others from destroying time itself. But almost immediately, things start to change, and Abby’s worst fears are realized when Zo begins targeting her past specifically. As Abby’s world fractures around her, she must face a terrible truth: Dante never made it through the door, and he may be lost forever without her help.
So with Dante’s blueprints in hand, she begins construction on a new door, a new time machine that will either save Dante - or doom him. With each new change that ripples into her present, Abby’s life continues to spiral out of control. Her relationships with Jason, Natalie, and even her family are threatened to the breaking point. Zo’s power is greater than Abby ever imagined. Will her love for Dante be enough to turn the tide? This award-winning YA love story is the second in a trilogy.

Story
My whole world changed when I stepped inside the academy. Nothing is right about this place or the other students in it. Here I am, a mere mortal among gods...or monsters. I still can't decide which of these warring factions I belong to, if I belong at all. I only know the one thing that unites them is their hatred of me. Then there's Jaxon Vega. A vampire with deadly secrets who hasn't felt anything for a hundred years. But there's something about him that calls to me, something broken in him that somehow fits with what's broken in me. Which could spell death for us all.

Story
Life was barely manageable after my mom was murdered three years ago. I wasn’t sure what my purpose was anymore. But then on my 21st birthday, I drank a little too much and fell from the roof of my nine-story apartment building. I died. Then...I un-died. Enter Hayden, my really bossy (and hot) guardian angel whose duty is to train me to be the next “Soldier of Light.” I’m pretty sure I’m the wrong person for this job, despite what Hayden thinks. Guess I’m stuck saving the dead.

Story
He's not like other guys. Liz has seen him around school. It's hard to miss Max - the tall, blond, blue-eyed senior stands out among all the other students at Roswell High. So why is he such a loner? Max is in love with Liz. He loves the way her eyes light up when she laughs and the way her long, black hair moves when she turns her head. Most of all, he loves to imagine what it would be like to kiss her. But he knows he can't get too close. He can't risk her discovering the truth about who he is - or what he is....Because the truth could kill her.

Magic doesn't exist in the human world. As far as I know. But when I fling a fireball at a bully, my horrified mom dumps me at Crystal Wing Academy, a place straight out of my favorite fantasy books. They tell me I'm an Outling, a wizard born from non-magical parents. Mom's human. Dad? I don't exactly know who he is....

Story
It all begins with a simple invitation. For five authors, it’s meant to be the start of a restful week, filled with free food, drinks, and like-minded company. But shortly after their arrival, things take an unsettling turn. Broken property, missing items, and strange noises are just some of the odd occurrences that have each member questioning their companions. As suspicions mount, the authors are pitted against each other.

The Story Continues
It is now time to face the challenge of meeting the Future's Past, and whether there is time enough to stop the evil from wiping out all of humanity in the blink of an eye, or worse, change history itself!
I enjoyed it tremendously, and will continue to refer friends to a real good listen!

Entertaining 😊
I really enjoyed this second book. I love the character development throughout the book and the different sides you get to see of each of them. It did get a bit mind bending and hard to understand at points, and there was points the story stretched on longer than it needed to. But overall I enjoyed the whole thing. I am excited to see where the journey leads these awesome characters.

"Sometimes all you can do is wait"
I can't believe I'm going to say this, but this book has entirely too much dialogue. I usually have a problem with books having so much action and not enough dialogue that it's either too repetitive, or hard to follow the storyline... but this book had the opposite problem. It seems like nothing ever really happens, there's just a lot of talking between characters about what might happen or what they should do... but it doesn't seem like anyone ever really DOES anything. There's a villain, and supposedly he's changing things in the timeline (which we know is a bad thing because they talk a lot about how it's a bad thing) but they never explain HOW... so you're left knowing that you're not supposed to like the villain but you're not exactly sure WHY. They probably do explain some things by the end of the book but the story takes waaaay too long getting to that part - I wouldn't know though because I couldn't finish the book. I was more than halfway through it and I feel like nothing had been explained. Sometimes stories can pull that off with a bit of good suspense but this book did a poor job building suspense because nothing ever really happened. The characters seem to make a lot of choices that don't make sense... For example: there's a lot of dialogue between the heroes about how the villain is really powerful and they should try to stop him, but also stay away from him. But whenever the villain appears, the heroes just stand there having conversations with him. They don't try to stop him, or apprehend him. They don't run from him... Sometimes they casually WALK away from him after having a conversation with him about how they are NOT going to talk to him. A couple of times one of the characters in the book says "sometimes all you can do is wait"... maybe that's what the title should be because that's all it seems like you'll be doing while listening to this book.
