Acerca de esta escucha
She was a modern girl
While on vacation in St. Augustine, Lilith Perkins visits an enchanting museum filled with timeless artifacts and mysteries of the past. Experiencing the paranormal was not on her list of expectations while venturing into the lavish ball room of the museum. When a ghost of a painter believes she is his long lost love, she is determined to unravel the tragic mystery of his true lover.Who fell back in time
Finding herself infatuated with the ghostly painter, Lilith follows him into his own world. When a freak accident occurs, she is left plummeting out the windows and into the intrepid flow of time itself. All the way back to the year 1890 in St. Augustine before cars, internet, or even delivery pizza.
To fall in love
Lost in a time far from her own, Lilith seeks out the painter for help. Upon meeting the man, alive and single, Lilith sets about to discovering the mystery of his death and the reason why she was sent back into history. Experiencing heart ache, joy, and the vibrancy of historical St. Augustine, Lilith discovers how timeless love can truly be, and that not all fates are written in the stars, but in one's own heart.

Good story but there are distractions
I listened to this book because I love St. Augustine and I enjoy time travel books. It was a very good story and good references to local landmarks. The virtual voice was a huge distraction, the program just isn't capable of proper pauses and inflections. However what nearly ruined the book was the continued use of the "F" word. Other non vulgar words could have been used as descriptors or for emphasis and it would have made the story just as good, in fact better and more in line with the 1890 time period. Despite the distractions, I'd recommend it for the story.
