In this breathtaking new story from the astonishing imagination of James Patterson, a girl has to save herself from an army assembled just to capture her—and maybe save the planet while she's at it.
Maximum Ride is a perfectly normal teenager who just happens to be able to fly, the result of an out-of-control government experiment. Max and the other members of the Flock—six kids who share her remarkable ability—have been asked to aid a group of environmental scientists studying the causes of global warming. The expedition seems like a perfect combination of adventure, activism—and escaping government forces who watch the Flock like a hawk.
But even in Antarctica, trapped in the harshest weather on our planet, Maximum Ride is an irresistible target in constant danger. For whoever controls her powers could also control the world . . . Maximum Ride is James Patterson's greatest character, a heroine who manages to be human and fearless at once. THE FINAL WARNING is an unrelenting new adventure from the writer Time magazine has called "The Man Who Can't Miss."

Would you listen to The Final Warning again? Why?
MaybeWhat other book might you compare The Final Warning to and why?
The rest of the Maximum Ride booksWhat about Jill Apple’s performance did you like?
All of it. She brought ALL of the characters to life but she was really Max to the limit! Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Max is dealing with her feelings for Fang and her jealousy. She tells Fang that "there is no me and you." And Fang responds, "There will ALWAYS be a me and you!"Good continuation of Series

Don't believe them. If you know we're in need of upping our game in climate change, this book pretty much just makes it to something a kid could understand if they haven't heard of it.
It may not be as action packed as the others, but it still holds the same ideals.
This is a great book.

Would you try another book from James Patterson and/or Jill Apple?
I will read another one of his books.Has The Final Warning turned you off from other books in this genre?
Not from this genre but maybe this series. Was The Final Warning worth the listening time?
This book had a major political agenda. Completely turned me off.Any additional comments?
I have read lots of Patterson books, this is the first one I did not like. He needs to do his homework, a little better, on global warming. If you want to read a book with a left-wing political agenda this might be the book for you otherwise it is not worth the time.Needed to do his homework
