Georgetown, Guyana 1970. Seven-year-old Rita has always known she was responsible for the death of her beautiful mother Cassie. Nice Story
This was a nice story about Guyana that includes a snippet of the Guyanese migration.
I don’t understand why there was so much racism amongst its own people and culture. Why were people of that generation so set in this way?
Overall very nice story and appreciate how the main character stayed true to herself while on her journey to discovering her past and future.
I would like a part 2.
