Chief Jasper Goodspeed’s compulsion to protect those he loves kicks into overdrive when Hurricane Isabella threatens Gracie Island.
As he gathers his friends and family to make sure they’re safe from the impeding storm, Jasper hopes his very pregnant wife, Poppie, doesn’t go into labor.
After last-minute preparations are made to secure the town against the high wind and the rising water, most of the islanders gather at the old Ice House building, while Jasper, his family, and their friends, hunker down in the basement of the sheriff’s department.

Story line

Fantastic series!
Tragedy is about to happen on Gracie Island! With baby Gracie rushing to be born and Hurricane Isabella coming in, things are about to get serious! The town has to come together in this time of need! John Walker continues bringing this cast of characters alive with a fantastic narration, full of adventure, excitement and romance. Wonderful listen!
