About this listen
There are so many local heroes that are taken for granted each and every day–that would never take us for granted.
And ask for nothing in return.
Whether it be a police officer or fireman or hospital employee or retail workers or mail carriers or the nice guy next door who helps you feed your kids or lets you borrow his lawn mower, there are so many heroes, often times right under our nose, that we don't even seem to notice exist.
Hence the reason for writing this book.
We have our own local heroes right here in Vincennes, whom you will learn about in these pages. Oh, and the next time you see them? Please, let them know how much you appreciate them.
