Justin’s wanderings bring him to the Bouchard family ranch, and soon Rene and Lianne take the boy in as their own. But before long, Justin’s past threatens to catch up with him, jeopardizing not only his new bond with Rene and Lianne but also the home he’s finally been able to claim. Great book - fully absorbing and thoughtful

A wonderful study of people and landscape. I found it fully absorbing and reminiscent of Wallace Stegner's best.

What a powerful and emotional journey,. Joe Wilkin’s is so incredibly descriptive in his writing, you can totally picture the scene and the characters in your mind. Justin Price rocked the narration, I give the book 10 stars if I could!
