Star crossed lovers clean romance with good ending

I liked the characters and their interactions. There were funny and tender moments and good examples of the prejudices of class. there are some unanswered questions about the heiress and the marquess and what they are about.

Entertaining!

Good clean book. I enjoyed that I was emotionally on the edge of my seat without the need for anything outside of what you would find in a G -PG rated movie.

exceeded all expectations. Funny, great characters, not too long. Almost like a chess match worth constant checkmates. True proper romance. What not to like?

Sweet romantic comedy

Such a delightful story with lots of romance, flirting, sweet kisses, and laugh out loud humor. I just love Charlie and Henrietta and can’t wait to read the next books in this series to learn more of Leonora (& Timothy?), as well as Anne (does she get Miles?). The audiobook was delightful as well.
