Practical, Godly advice

My husband and I love this book. They give very practical advice for raising a young family and leading them in the ways of God. They also give good advice for living a Godly life. We love the Duggar’s and appreciate how they have influenced (and continue to influence) our lives over the years. God bless.

Myths Explained; Questions Answered

Would you consider the audio edition of The Duggars: 20 and Counting! to be better than the print version?

Michelle Duggar's voice is a but tiresome because she read like she is reading the book to small children rather than a more sophisitcated audience but that actually worked for me since I am also a homeschool mother who does not get much time to be single tasked. Her tone helped me to retain more of the information that way.

Since I do not have a cable subscription, I have heard many things about the Duggars but have only seen an episode or two on Netflix. Michelle Duggar shares how parenting a large family is possible and gives parents of smaller families hope to manage basic tasks.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Duggars: 20 and Counting!?

I loved learning about Josie Duggar's birth and the logistics involved.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes; however, it simply was not possible due to the length and the fast pace of my life as a mother of three homeschooled kids.

Michelle does a nice job narrating. the story was fun, but I wish it had all been chronological

Lot of tips in how to live a fruitful life with love and faith. A deep dive to the life of the Duggars family.

Excellent book to read !

l Love learning about the trials and tribulations that the family has gone through. We put it in God's hands to guide us all through raising our children and to grow as parents .Thanks to God for putting friends in our life's whom have given us tips and techniques to use as tools to help us raise up God loving and responsible adult children .

Great book/info/advice and story

Only down side was the I (Jim Bob) vs I (Michelle) all read by Michelle. I love all the info provided and encouragement on parenting stresses. Also neat to see how they refuse to go into debt!! Great to listen to!!

This is a great example of how God will bless those who serves him. It seems this family has stood on Godly principles and has always loved God and love people. More family's like this and the world would be a better place. Thanks for sharing your story.

So interesting

I always wanted to have a big family and listening to this book gave me the feeling that it happened to me. I am amazed by the faith that made their story possible. the reason I rated the performance lower is because I didn't understand why it kept reading "I" Jim Bob and "I" Michelle. it would have been easier to follow if it was just written in Michelle's voice.
