About the Creator

Jeffery Deaver is an international number-one bestselling author. His books are sold in 150 countries and have been translated into 25 languages. He has served two terms as president of Mystery Writers of America, and was recently named a Grand Master of MWA, whose ranks include Agatha Christie, Ellery Queen, Mary Higgins Clark, and Walter Mosley.
The author of 43 novels, three collections of short stories and a nonfiction law book, and a lyricist of a country-western album, he’s received or been shortlisted for dozens of awards. His The Bodies Left Behind was named Novel of the Year by the International Thriller Writers, and his Lincoln Rhyme thriller, The Broken Window, and a stand-alone, Edge, were also nominated for that prize. This was my first book from this author. I love the Kindle singles since they give you an opportunity to sample an author's work without a large time commitment. This was a fantastic thriller with excellent twists and turns I did not see coming. A fast paced excellent short. I read this book using immersion reading while listening to the audio book. Scott Merriman did a wonderful job on the narration. I have a few other short stories from this author to sample.

Deaver manages To produce an entertaining Novella, l A quick lesson wrapped up in an hour and a half fully contained, nice story, good narration, great pick for prime reading.

The author has written a fantastic novel with plenty of intrigue and suspense! The novel is a little bit shorter than most but still an excellent novel! The narration is superb!

Love anything by Jeffery Deaver!! This is no disappointment with all the expected unexpected twists and turns!! I also found it amusing that the narrator does a voice for one of the characters that I thought sounded like a dead on impression of Patrick Warburton!!!
