About this listen

Drew and her friends aren't like most college kids.

They're dead.

Murdered in 1998 by a masked killer known only as The Fireman, their spirits are trapped in Greywood House, desperate to escape, until Abbey and her family arrive.

The new girl finds herself drawn to their haunting presence, which only makes things worse. Because the dead know what the living can't: The Fireman is coming back.

And this time, the ghosts of Greywood House will have to do whatever it takes to stop the next bloodbath, even if it means the end of their afterlives....

Want to READ genre bending cinematic story?

I stumbled upon this book, and at first, I just thought the title was unique… but quickly found myself completely enthralled by a story so visual, I literally was unable to put it down.
The characters are strikingly different causing unpredictable twists and turns. The world of the haunted manor they built, with its interesting rules, create bizarre and creepy situations, but overall, I think the premise of this story is what makes it really cool. I felt like I was reading a horror franchise from the vantage point of those who are already dead. “The Dead Friends Society” turns the slasher horror genre into an unexpected horror fantasy epic. This book is a gem and totally worth the read.

Good story! Narration is rough

The story is well done, but I wish I’d read instead of listening. The narrator begins with a wistful, whiny voice that never ends. Speeding it up helps a little.
2 stars on narrator because I managed the entire book, but only because of the story.

I left the roller coaster of the story.

Loved it!! It's a must listen or read book. I recommend this book to all who want justice, alive or not.
