About this listen

Michael returns to fulfill a promise to his love, but the world isn't the same place.

Michael just wants a little sleep. The last few days have been a bit of a learning overload after coming back 150 years after he was blown apart by a backpack nuke.

The world destroyed itself, there are anti-gravity cars and ships, and his love is in the stars...somewhere.

Plus, there is a vampire trying to make Europe his personal fiefdom. Akio and Yuko are trying to find him, and he has a young female Wechselbalg and male vampire to keep on the straight and narrow.

Michael has his own brand of justice, and this world is now understanding the Patriarch is back.

Nothing will be the same.

As noted in other series set in the Kurtherian Universe, there is cursing in this audiobook occasionally - it's funny, too.

Love the con and gab it. I read the series on Kindle first and this is my second time listening on audible Michael Anderle writes in a way that is entertaining, engaging and thought-provoking.

Fun and easy to read

So gratrful to Michael Anderle for this series. When I want to get away from hard sci-fi this is perfect for me. A person might not think this theme would be easy to follow, but Michael is a good and fun author.
He writes his author's notes as though each reader is a personal friend. I am having great fun with his books. Thank you Michael...
Please don't let them talk you into making a movie or series out of any of your books. It always ruins books for me. All those extra hands mess up a book.

Entertaining!

Love, love, love this book and series! Michael and the “magnificent seven” are back and they are living up to there history. Michael’s reactions to facing off with enemies is sweeeeet! The narrator did a fantastic job!

Awesome

I listened to these books back to back to back, It started off strong and I was excited to hear this part of the story. I don't want to sound disappointed, but these last two books slowed down a bit with their kick ass flair. I feel like more stuff could have been done and several things were rushed and cut short. I enjoyed it and if you have been keeping up with the series it is a must read/listen. Narration was done perfectly GREAT JOB Chris.

enjoyed!

really enjoyed another Kutherian Gambit book. I especially loved Chris' voice for Michael. as usual lots of action and bad guys getting their karma. I think the only thing that would make any of the kutherian gambit audible books better would be sound effects added. for now my imagination will have to supply 😉

dark..yeah. darkly funny michael?..Hell Yeah!

just goes to prove the best books are all about the characters interactions. The consistent & pitiless unyeilding that Michael wrote Michael with in the beginning is what makes his new found moments of ironic humor, especially about himself and his rep the best Hidden Gem of this series and I look forward to what kind of jokes and one up she'll be cracking by the end of it good job on Michael, Michael; thanks! jaberle
