Historical Fiction/Strong Women

I love historical fiction, this fabulous book goes one better. Only one of the three main characters is fictional. I was transported to NYC turn-of-the-century fashion, expectations and societal norms for women. The Colony Club delved into the experiences of three women who dreamed of a different world and how they contributed to change. Great listen!

Terrific story

Shelley Noble has given us a really good story, wonderful to follow with its main cast of characters. Ably narrated and played by Caroline Hewitt this is one of the greats- weaving multiple levels of story and meanings as we progress through the early years of the 20th century.

How repetitive it was.

The whole book was boring and verbose I used this book to fall asleep at the hospital
