Fun tales on the road

I bought this collection to jog my memory of the stories and have something fun to listen to on a long car ride. I read it when I was little, so to hear the stories brought back a lot of wonderful memories. The cast is outstanding. Judi Dench, Geoffrey Palmer are as wonderful in this as they are in their series "As Time Goes By". I also loved the voice of Piglet. It just makes me smile remembering the voice. With all that is going on, it was a nice break on a long road. I found that my favorite characters have changed over the years. When I was little it was Pooh and Tiger, it is now Piglet and Eeyore.

Sentimental with Unexpected Wisdom

I think we all remember how delightful Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends are, but many do not remember just how insightful this little bear can be. He may be a bear of very little brain, but he reminds us that we think with our heads and know with our hearts.

Best rendition ever!

Love this telling of the classic stories. The performances are over the top and the subtle humor evokes many a chuckle. Highly recommend this to Pooh lovers.

Lovely classic for the whole family

Would you listen to The Collected Stories of Winnie-the-Pooh again? Why?

Yes, the story is a classic and it was narrated very well. My kids loved it and even though my husband was dreading it ahead of time, he ended up not only liking it, but laughing out loud. The kids have never been so quiet on a road trip!

Classic Bedtime Stories

The collection of stories is delightfully told through the eyes of a child with a wonderful imagination. If you grew up watching the Disney version, don't expect Pooh and his friends to sound anything like that. The stories are as timeless as ever... simple and sweet as they go on their great adventures or when they try to figure a way out of their little entanglements.

It was a good book

It was a good book, my children had a wonderful time listening to it. They listed to it over and over. It is a fun book with lots of fun family and friends. I recommend you listen to this book!!!
