Cute short story

I remember reading this book in elementary school, and listening to the audio book conjured happy memories. The narrator does a wonderful job, and really makes the story shine.

Very nice kids book

Nice little quick read. Cute idea. But I didn’t like the ending, it wasn’t the message I thought they were trying to convey

Awesome story

In this sweet (hah) story we have a child who loves candy, which being a candy lover myself, I can totally understand.

He does not want to eat anything else and one day finds a candy store and buys a box of chocolate. In the box is one piece of chocolate which of course he eats. This starts his life where everything he tastes turns to chocolate.

This begins his learning to not want just chocolate.

I enjoyed this because of the narration. Joel Froomkin or as I know him as, Joel Leslie was perfect for this.

Very good children’s book.

Quality book for young readers and parents who like to read to their kids. Has a very good moral lesson with a very enjoyable and imaginative take on the story of King Midas totally suited for children.
