About this listen

There's no denying the fascination of the life that Lobsang Rampa describes in the remote lamaseries beyond the great Himalayan range - a life that now may have been destroyed for all time.

Here in these ancient repositories of wisdom, the lamas learn the meaning of life - and of death: the relationship between the mind and the brain; the secrets of hypnotism, telepathy, clairvoyance, and reincarnation.

Here's power, but not for abuse or misuse.

Here, too, in this follow-up to Rampa's The Third Eye, is a story of strangeness, adventure, excitement, and danger, as the young Rampa is introduced to the hidden cave of the ancients.

this book made me a fan!

I didn't know what to expect from this book but the preview sounded good so I took the bait and now I'm hooked. I plan on listening to all Lobsang Rampa audio books which are laced with wisdom of the ancients.

A hidden gem of immeasurable value

A hidden gem of immeasurable value to those who yearn for meaning in a material existence…

TLR's childhood as a monk in special training

After the first three books, where T. Lobsang Rampa was either recalling his childhood, or his journey out of Tibet, and many terrible experiences during and after war . . . this book was much more peaceful with some intriguing experiences.

I enjoy this narrator's work, but there are still a few editing/production small errors that distract - overlapping/repeating sentences.

I loved the Third Eye. This not so much.

It is a bit dated scientifically. Observations he made back in 1968 were novel then. Now, not so much.

This is Fiction!

I read The Third Eye and was so enthralled I purchased this book but a little voice told me to check out the Lobsang Rampa. I was surprised to find out it’s ALL FICTION. The man never set foot in Tibet much more a Lama.
I stopped reading and lost all interest.
