About this listen

The Brothers Synn is a fast-paced, high octane gay romance series featuring three ex-military brothers and the men who love them. This bundle contains all three books in the series, along with new special bonus content. In His Sights My intuition tells me Chris might not be as straight as he wants everyone to believe. It ain’t my job to get Chris out of the closet. But when he comes to me with one highly unusual request, it’s damn hard to remain professional. How can I turn down an offer to teach a “straight” guy a few gay tricks? Not His Man I don’t usually go for stuck-up nerdy guys, but Ford is full of surprises. He seems reserved at first, but that all changes once I have him on his knees. I don’t mind taking him home for another night or three, but anything more than that? No way. The problem is, the more I’m forced to see him, the more I realize he makes me feel alive in a way that nothing else does. Under His Watch I didn’t expect to run into Ryan at the gala. I didn’t expect he would try to hire me. And I definitely didn’t think I would say yes. But there’s no way I would let him go to one of the most dangerous places in South America without my protection. But now Ryan isn’t the only one who needs my help. We’ve found a little baby boy left alone in the jungle, and if we’re to get him out alive, Ryan and I are going to need to work together. Military Protector Romance

AI voices do not have emotional connection

This would have been a fantastic book. The 3 stories were interesting. However, the emotionless performance complete with mispronunciation really threw me off. If you feel interested in the story you would be better off reading the book instead of this AI audio version.

Loved the story

Really like this story. The characters were great. But virtual voice just really is not my cup of tea. I managed to get through all 3 of these but. I had a hard time at times distinguishing, which character was talking. Because there's no difference in the tones. No difference in the inflections. I just really don't like virtual voice

AI cannot replace a narrator who understands emotion.

This story of a family was fine. The narration although sounding like a human voice, could not bring the inflection and emotion needed to make a good story. I will not be listening to anything but flesh and blood storytellers from now on.

remembering of things past

Stories of the three brothers reminded me of my military career especially my tour in theater, 2x in Afghanistan, South and Central America an the African Eastern countries. I an empathize with the stories. However the only difference is that we can’t take

"romantic" scenes could use some help

Since others have already covered that virtual voice is difficult to listen to, I'll go with the writing/story. The characters have minimal development/depth, and the romantic scenes are very movie-like and unrealistic. Perhaps I wouldn't have cared as much with a real and good narrator, but it's a not-great across the board.

Good stories

Virtual voice is terrible! I won’t be purchasing any more books narrated in this way

Excellent story

The story is incredibly captivating, with complex characters and a compelling storyline. However, the Virtual voice narration detracts from the experience, lacking emotion and connection, ultimately diminishing the impact of the story.

Good story, bad virtual voice

Three good stories. But you can tell that it’s written by a woman. Some things are not what a man would do. And the reactions of the men to being with their partners for the first time are much more like how women would act, not gay men. Some holes in the storyline when characters are switched. For example, woman has a gay nephew. And he has a boyfriend. But the boyfriend is referred to as the nephew and not the boyfriend of the nephew. Several mistakes like this in each story. Virtual Voice is bad. A C-130 aircraft should be called “see one thirty”. Instead it’s called “see dash one hundred and thirty”. Several acronyms are spoke as words instead of letters. POV is pov (as in the first part of the word poverty). Very distracting.

AI narration is bad

This is at least the second time I have tried to get through the zombie like narration of an artificial voice and I could not do it and don't recommend it. Good author's and stories are being ruined by this
