This clearly gives witness to the inherent racism of Hollywood as it made movies in the 1920s and later.

A force!
Anna May Wong was a courageous pioneer for Asian American women in film. Gail Tsukiyama's biographical novel tells AMW's story beautifully. I'm so grateful to have learned about her!
