Another Hit!

I seriously LOVE this series! Every book just gets better. Book 5 was well-written, action-packed, thrilling, and heartbreaking. I love all the characters and the bond they have. RJ has got to be my favorite. He has grown so much.

Steve Campbell did a marvelous job with his narration with this one. It was just perfect!

Need more

Within the litrpg/gamelit genre there are very few Space Sci-fi stories. Alex does it justice with the story telling being the main focus over combat.

The amount of information put into the story for it only being 5.5 hours, made it feel a lot longer and felt like it was worth more than some of books I've listened to that have over inflated combats just to hit the 10+ hour mark.

Do not skip on this just because of the length.

Blown Away

I had to go back and read my reviews of the other books in this series because this one really jumped out at me as being excellent. Well, I liked the other ones as well, and Knowles definitely knows how to write a story that jumps off of the page. Combine that with the excellent narration by Steve Campbell and *chef’s kiss* the fifth book in the Bright series was as good as I expected.

The first thing I want to talk about isn’t a spoiler… but it’s about the ending. All I want to say is Alex… Alex. Friend. Can I call you friend? Why are you leaving me hanging like this? (Now, I know I have the next book literally already loaded onto my phone) But this ending had sort of a “good” comic book ending or an old-time radio/tv show “come back next week…” I can’t explain it. I’m simultaneously mad at them for writing this and happy because it was such a “what!?” ending.

The rest of the book is a lead-up to that moment, with some really good and interesting scenes. The character building (even this far in) was well done and thoughtful. Some moments happened earlier in the book that was called back later – Knowles nailed the emotion and the feeling behind the character. I genuinely enjoyed the book because of moments like that throughout.

Overall, I loved it. Knowles is at the top of their game, and I cannot wait to dive into the next story.

Go on the strangest dungeon dive ever...

It's seriously been a while since I read book 4 but surprisingly it didn't take to long for me to get with it. Tytan's body is falling apart and he's holding on only because of his obligations not only for his entire race but also in equal measure for revenge!
When Prince Rair finally gets to his home world Prime Zola... Upon arrival Prince Rair is immediately sent into the dungeon to power up! While he going as deep as he can, he finds the dungeon core actually cares for him, and wants him to succeed all the while trying her hardest to kill him.
This is prolly the best book in the Bright series so far. So yeah grab this book and go on the strangest dungeon dive ever!
Ohhhh and yeah Steve Campbell voice performance won't let you down.

Best book yet!

This series keeps getting better. I loved the dungeon diving feel of this book. If you have enjoyed the series up to this point, then this book will not disappoint. The narration was very well done as always.

Excellent next book in this series!

Bright Beast does not disappoint. Excellent way to pick up from the previous book. Titan definitely keeps us on the edge of our seats.

Steve Campbell’s narration was great!

My only complaint was it was over way too soon! Already anxiously awaiting the next audiobook. 🤗

I highly recommend this series!

still okay...

first off...
book 4 is optional, it offers background and fluff, but nothing that is needed to understand the plot of book 5...

with the time between 3 and 5 release, there needed to be a recap of some kind...
the book expects you to come straight from book 3...
there is even an emotional semi breakdown in, i believe, chapter 2, that feels really off, unneeded and unearned because it's in the beginning of a new book..

and when I'm halfway through the book before I've placed what is going on and who everyone is, that's a failure on the part of the author...

Steve acts his heart out, and carries this book on his back...
it's amazing to experience...
