Entertaining and Inclusive But Weak Storyline

I loved how many diverse characters there were, but I fell like the story fell a bit flat. I think it felt a bit rushed.

Interesting characters that are brought to life by the narrator. You become truly vested and can’t wait to see how it all plays out.

this is hipster nonsense. i loved it.

the withheld truth trope kills me, but i needed to know how it ended; there were also other tropes that frustrated me, but idk if i get in there without spoiling anything. the story provides much-needed representation and i appreciated the growth of the main character. the narrator spoke super slowly.
overall, cute, mindless listening. good for saturday morning housekeeping. is that rude? i hope not.

First chapter hard to listen to

The first chapter is very woke and was hard to get through. I almost deleted the title several times. I decided to see if it got better with second chapter and was relieved somewhat. The story and characters were good, with only a few woke references through the rest of the book. Due to the woke references, I’m glad this was free and I won’t be getting another title from this author.

Fun, quick listen

This was a fun read to lighten my day. The main character had me infatuated from the beginning. I hope this becomes a series.
