Loved it

I was a Connie Mason fan from the good old days of paper back! So glad she is on audible. Not a fan of the narrator but it was still very good!

The Maiden was full of every virtue!

I liked Raven the best. She was fearless and honest. Drake was a man of men!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book

This is a nice story about Drake and Raven, their earlier years and beyond. It has a love story of course, deceit, evilness and weakness and it held my attention.
Simon Mattocks is a new narrator for me and I think he did a pretty good job.

Great story but

it recounted already played out scenes a few times to more than was needed. still a good read

What a wonderful book. This one was even better than the last. I’m on my way to the audible store for more Connie Mason books.

Connie Mason always gives us an end to the story; love the narrative and narrator of this book.

I thought it had a good story line. The love/hate for Raven was fun. I thought Granny Nolan added a good touch. I wish Waldow didn't die the way he did, I guess you couldn't find his end. Drake was all he should have been, great character!
