preachy

I did love the story but could do with much less bible quoting. Good narration.

It was ok

Christina Moore is the perfect person to narrate Amish romance books. She’s absolutely perfect at it.
The book itself was alright, but after a while it seemed like the author was just trying to make her word quota. It’s the kind of book that you can skip a few chapters and not miss anything.

My favorite in the series

I enjoyed all three books in this series, but this last one was my favorite. I would definitely recommend reading the first and second books to understand the entire story and characters. This book had a lot of character development, and I could relate in many ways. It was also very suspenseful, which kept me reading late into the night. The narrator is good, but the way she depicted the male voices made them all sound a bit dumb. But overall, very good narration.

Christina Moore is my favorite narrator!! She speaks the amish language so perfectly!! I recommend any books she narrates!

I loved the series itself! I also love the author! I’ve read many books of hers! My favorite author is Beverly Lewis, if you haven’t listened to her books, I highly highly recommend! I’ve read them. Back to my review. The first two books were excellent, although I felt it was taking an incredibly long time to get to the full story of Jimmy. I don’t want to spoil the book for anyone.
The Last three hours of this book became incredibly annoying!! It was way too drawn out and I almost just to skip To the end. Every time Jimmy started to tell his story, he was cut off. It seriously became so annoying! I ended up half listening while I accomplished other tasks, which I normally cannot do. I usually have to relisten if I don’t focus. However, with this book, it was easy. All I wanted to do was get to the end.
I’ve listened to a ton of Amish books. I love them! The story of the bishop’s daughter is a good story overall. Just prepare to be annoyed the last three hours!

Slow and boring

I finally gave up. It had a good plot, but the pace of the story was too slow and I finally couldn't bear finishing the story.
