She was the paramour of a globe-trotting billionaire who never had to lift a finger to do much of anything. But looks are deceiving. At the moment, Ava hasn't spoken to Sarah in over 20 years.

Ava busies herself with fixing up her beautiful new beach home, so that she can open up the bed and breakfast. Well written story

I enjoyed the story. I do not like the virtual voice however, it does not have inflection and does not separate characters voices. virtual voice does not pronounce some words correctly. the story would have been much better with one or two character voices reading it.

Terrible automated reading

I don’t care for the AI reading of this book. It really detracted from the story.

The virtual reading of this book was horrible! It took so much away from the story and made it hard to continually listen and focus on the story.

Story was really good but would’ve been much much better with a natural voice with inflection.. there were funny lines but didn’t resonate until after A.I. voice completed line then it was like oh that was funny. I hope this isn’t a new thing for all books.. I won’t continue membership if I don’t enjoy the voice.

The story was good but the AI reader is awful. Can't wait to read more in the series though.

Story not really about the beach

Monotone voice was monotone and dull. Story really about sisters lives. A human reader might have made the story more interesting.

Good story! Monotone Delivery!

This was a good story with interesting lines for other character development. The computer generated reading was close to total monotone and very sleep inducing. The lack of inflection in the reading required close attention to the story line. It underscored how much character development happens through expression. With all the voices sounding so closely the same, it was difficulty to distinguish the different characters and they developed almost no personality.
