Another Good Book in Series

I really liked the book. I liked the whole series. no major, unbelievable drama but kept me interested. LOVE the characters! Isabella and Eli could be very entertaining and some nice steamy parts. I liked Sasha Dunbrooke. She does a good job narrating! I'll probably listen to the series again in the future.

Good Listen

This was a great conclusion to the Billionaire trilogy. I really don't know whos story I liked the best. No spoilers here! But this was a straight through listen. I jump around to different books all the time(I listen to an average of 3 books at a time) but sometimes when you get a good one you cant put it down. I couldn't put this listen down!!

Good book but…

There was one stinking word that the narrator got wrong on more than one occasion that drove me nuts.

“Forte” is not pronounced as “fort”. “Fort” (pronounced FOR-t) is something typically children make with random stuff available in a house, like couch cushions, to have an inside version of a tree house… for lack of a better description. A “forte” (pronounced FOR-tay) is a personal trait derived from talent and/or perseverance that someone is known for having.

BIG difference.

It was supposed to be forte!!! 😭

Pity Party for One

Oh,I blame myself for my mom dying,I blame myself for my friends dying,I blame myself for my relationship not working and I blame myself for not being good enough for a future relationship. When life throws you nothing but bananas, you make a mean banana split.I understand things happening to people, but you can’t allow those bad things to take over your life especially in Eli’s situation. He’s handsome, healthy and wealthy with a family that love him, respect him and are there for him.A beautiful, independent, good woman comes into his life and he nearly throws it away more than once. The love was there for Isa,she just had to break through Eli’s insecurities.Good story and narration.

Love is Scary

and Eli is very scared of opening himself up and being vulnerable to the pain of loss and or rejection. He lost his mother in a car accident, friends in combat and his leg leaving him emotionally as well as physically scarred. Isabella doesn't let that stop her. She is a take charge woman...charging into his life with a strength and not a little bit of stubbornness. No cheating. HEA ends a little abruptly but otherwise a good read.

Great story, so-so narration

This is the last book in a trilogy but I read it first. Loved the storyline and character struggles. The story itself made me read this book out of order because it sounded and was the most interesting of the three books. Narrator didn't do a great job with the male voices. Her performance of the male voices reminded me of the cowardly lion's voice in different pitches. That took away a bit from enjoying the book. Overall, though, the book is a solid read.
