Not the Place to Start

I have read almost every book in the Leopard Series, starting with Wild Rain back when it came out in 2004 and wanted to listen to them all on audio, since I drive a lot for work. Honestly, had I started with this book way back in 2004, I probably wouldn't have kept reading the series. It doesn't have the same feel as the others, and the narrator uses the same voice and tone for all of the characters, which makes it painful to listen to. I love Christine Feehan's writing, but this one is not for me. I am hoping the other audio books are better.

Disappointed

Story was to short. could have had more content. but I did like what was there.

The story line was different from my usual.

I did not like the music at the beginning. It was too distracting while listening to the beginning of the story.

Maggie and Brandt Are First Couple—Hot

It was nice to read how Maggie was lured back to her roots and then shown what she is. Loved the romantic ways that Brandt watched over her and then she helped him win. Be fun to be a golden leopard with a Huge leopard as my mate. These books are so much fun to read. Wonder how the author learned her technique? I listened to the audible version in 2019 and enjoyed it immensely. I have read every Leopard People book and every one has a couple That bond just like Maggie and Brandt did. the narrator is Allison Kruise and she brings these two to life. If you get a chance, listen in audible.

I loved the way love was the theme behind the story. I wish it was a little longer but the story was as a whole was great.

loved everything about it the voice was perfect. it was exciting and passionate. narrator has a very passionate expressive voice.

A good book

It's a good book, but no where near the excellence of the other Leopard books by Christine Feehan.

My only complaint is the narrator didn't seem to even attempt to change voices gore the male character.
As usual, Christine Feehan creates a believable setting and chracters.
