During 1915 to 1923, one and a half million Armenian people were deported and killed in the most appalling ways comprehensible. They were abducted and sold as slaves.

In short, the Ottoman Empire under the Three Pashas made every possible attempt to exterminate the Armenian race with such fervor that their actions would inspire the creation of the very word that now defines the greatest crime that can be perpetrated against a civilization: genocide. Yet today, the Armenian Genocide is an event that has melted out of the collective consciousness. It is an event that has repercussions extending to the modern day and is an event that should never be forgotten.

This was a very well written book.

It gives an excellent background on the Armenian and ottoman Turk relationships before the young Turks committed genocide with the support of some of the European nations.

A shameful critique on mankind.

We must be hauled, shouting, and kicking to the truth of massacre. On numerous occasions, the humanized world has turned its back as destruction happens.

Each spirit on this planet should peruse this book, and always remember these dreadful occasions.

Well written and researched book.

This isn't a book to appreciate. Captivating History expounds on the detestations our developments have foisted on humankind. The more terrible part is how our nation and other humanized nations neglected to react to the annihilation.

NECESSARY READING

This is what we are missing in our history books. Why is this information hid from us and Hitler History so embedded in our books? What about Nanking? This is a perfect short book that covers so much information and history that as an American, was not made aware. This story...this history remains open and never resolved. I recommend giving your time to this. At least for the sake of those that suffered.

One of the Most Important Books

Great whenever taken as an all-encompassing exposition. Not very great whenever made as a guide for a military move. After the third cautiously curated case of belittled outrage, the peruse ponders pretty much all different wrongdoings that didn't cut distribution.

It is a story about hell

This is very elegantly composed and inquired about the book. Be that as it may, now and again, I thought that it was difficult to stomach the numerous slaughters that have happened and our defense for doing nothing.
