About this listen

A late bloomer lesbian doctor. A stepdaughter’s best friend. A taboo passion that could destroy them both.

After a messy divorce, Dr. Rowan Colchester finally embraces her true self. A passionate encounter with a younger woman shakes her world. But when she discovers the complicated connection between them, she knows a future together is not in the cards.

Inspired by the loss of her father, Dr. Simone Doucette dreams of being a humanitarian. But when the pressure proves too much, she takes a job in the ER of a small Cape Cod hospital to put the pieces of her life back together. The last thing she expects is for her new boss to be the one-night stand she can’t forget.

As fate—and scandal—pull them together, Rowan and Simone must fight not just for love, but for the hospital’s survival and the soul of their tightknit community. With careers, reputations, and hearts on the line, will they risk everything for a second chance?

For high-stakes passion and a forbidden steamy romance, don’t miss this must-listen collaboration from Miranda MacLeod and TB Markinson.

Lori Prince is always great on narration! This story has beautiful chemistry between the main characters, and a strong supporting cast that continues to develop throughout the story. I strongly recommend.

I love when these two collaborate! The characters drew me in from the start and the storyline got me as well; I found the inner workings of a hospital fascinating. Lori Prince knocked the narration out of the park again! A bit of angst but not over the top…

T.B. and Miranda are my favorite duo!

I've just finished listening to "The Anatomy of Forever" and I'm still caught in its spell. This audiobook isn't just a story—it's an experience that resonates long after the final chapter concludes.

The narrator's voice is absolutely captivating, bringing each character to life with such nuance that I often forgot I was listening to just one person. Their pacing is perfect, allowing the emotional moments to breathe while keeping the narrative flowing smoothly throughout.

The story itself explores the interconnectedness of human experiences across time in a way that feels both profound and accessible. The author weaves together multiple storylines that initially seem separate but gradually reveal their beautiful interdependence. The philosophical questions about mortality, memory, and what truly lasts forever are handled with remarkable depth and sensitivity.

If you're looking for an audiobook that will make you think, feel, and perhaps see your own life's connections differently, "The Anatomy of Forever" is an absolute must-listen. It's already earned a permanent place in my collection, and I know I'll be returning to it again and again.

What impressed me most was how the audiobook format enhanced the storytelling
