About this listen

Sam Baron writing as SJ Blake

"You're just a young woman. What makes you think you can bring down a cabal of some of the richest, most powerful men in the world?"

"I have justice on my side."

Your name is Dani McKay. Daughter of a famous, bestselling author.

You've never been the same since your shocking abduction twelve years ago.

The backlash is swift and fierce. Soon after, your father Charles McKay, British Ambassador to Germany, is found dead in your hotel room shortly after telling you the truth about the kidnapping. Your mother Elle is apprehended as a person of interest and flown back to Washington DC for questioning by the authorities.

And now, they're coming for you.

All you have are your wits, your gumption, and your determination to get justice at any cast.

With the help of a small group of loyal, resourceful friends, and an idealistic US Senator, you take on a Goliath.

The odds are stacked against you, but you're determined to fight to the bitter end to expose the truth and ensure that justice is done, not just for your sake, but for other young women like yourself.

Great read!

I enjoyed this interesting thriller and the surprising twists throughout the book. The close relationship between mother and daughter was well written and had a shocking reveal that I didn’t see coming!

digital voice

I could not get through this book because of the narration. the premise sounded good, but I couldn't get past the cadence of the reader. If the narrator is a digital voice that should be posted somewhere..
