About this listen

Welcome to Luxiria, where the twin suns are hot and the alien warriors are hotter…

Kate Harper can't believe that a month ago, she was living on Earth, going through the motions of a normal, human life.

Now?

A seriously sexy, insatiable, alpha alien knocked her up and she's learning how to rule over an entire species with her new mate.

As Kate tries to carve out a place for herself on Luxiria--all while pregnant with an alien warrior's baby that loves to kick--there's unrest brewing on the planet and her strong alien mate's authority is challenged.

And why can't she shake the feeling that he's hiding something from her?

The Alien's Mate is Book Two of the Warriors of Luxiria series and is the sequel to The Alien's Prize. You need to have listened to book one first. The Alien's Mate concludes Vaxa'an and Kate's story and the rest of the series will focus on other Luxirian warriors that can be listened to as standalones.

Absolutely love this author...4.5

But this one was frustrating me. The story was great, the writing excellent, but it just had one of my biggest pet peeves as a major part of the storyline. One of my biggest pet peeves aside from weak heroines is when the h/H keep important things from eachother thinking they know better or don't wanna stress them. It's beyond frustrating, in particular when not telling them results in serious issues and misunderstandings.

Again, this is one of my favorite authors. I love her world building, characters, writing, and stalk her page daily for new audio releases. This one just contained a personal pet peeve. That's the only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars. I'd still strongly recommend it to anyone! The conflict of keeping secrets was necessary because they were learning how to be together.

The actors/narrators did an excellent job!! Their voices and performances are perfect for this!

Good job!

This was a wonderful listen all the way around. The story is an absolute because Zoey wrote it and the narrators did a fantastic job. Tristen Josiah read ALL the male voices and Sierra read ALL THE female voices. Zoey picked well with them. Very good job to them all!

One of the best narrations ever

Great narration. Best duel narration I have ever heard. It was a pleasure to listen to. Great story looking forward to more. I wonder if the brother was nearby bearing witness. I hope we get to find out. Highly recommend this audiobook. Great series so far.

Exactly what you think

If you are looking for a quick spicy listen, this is it. It’s not the great American novel, but it’s a 5/5 for the genre it’s in. No surprises- alien lover who also rules his people, willing earth girl, and a quick moving plot. Bonus points for the duet style narration.

Changing of characters voices !

While listening to the story I loved how the narrators switch! If the male narrator was reading the female character need to speak then the female narrator would speak. Truly love this type of dynamic.

Awesome couldn’t put it down🏆

I love this series in the beginning when I got the first book I told myself I will just read the first one because I traditionally only read longer reads BUT I had to read the second. I am so glad I did this made the first book complete and was well written. Yes I had to go and get the 3rd book. Cannot wait to 🎧 listen 🥰

❤️ I can’t wait for the next one!❤️

I love Zoey Draven’s exciting stories of love and adventure set on a beautiful planet of terraced homes.
The warriors are really, really hot. The women are real, with motivations and emotions that are easy to understand and identify with.
They’re kidnapped by the creepy aliens, then saved from servitude by the warriors they learn to love. They are given a choice to return to earth or stay. They always choose love.
If this is your trope, you’re at the right place. 🌟
PS/ Narrators are really super!

So wonderful story

I really liked the story can’t wait for the next , I didn’t like the dual narration it was kind of annoying at times.

The two part story of Kate and her mate Vax’an. I like the world building that happens it’s amazing!
