As Octav and his new pilot bond, they must use all their strength and resourcefulness to rectify their mistakes and restore balance.

Following King Valor's death, Kendro seeks to claim his rightful place as King by meeting the Heart. Meanwhile, Octav, now the Ainoren, must convene a Summit to prevent war. Chase's life mirrors the upheaval around him as he argues with his mate and faces a new promotion that increases his time with Octav. The Events Which Led To Connections
I was entertained by these four short stories which described the events of the death of a king, the rise of another king, and the king's friend who was appointed as the king's guardian and confidante. I liked that these stories broadened my understanding of the culture of the Aonise. I enjoyed all the worldbuilding. I liked the characters. I'm looking forward to more stories in this creative world. I thought Joel Simler's narration was great, and his performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

Entertaining stories
Dawn Chapman, Steve Kogan, William Humble wrote great space adventure stories. Joel Simler did a great job on the narration. The characters are well developed and so is the world they live in. The stories all involve the death of a king and the rise of an other. Each story is from a different point of view. The stories are interesting, entertaining, and leaves you wanting more.
