Excellent PDF Text Accompanying Audio Book

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would definitely recommend this to a friend. The pdf text that accompanies the audio is outstanding. It shows how to relate Italian vocabulary to what you already know in English. Not only that, but the text portion of this course tells you why this is so. It gives great examples of the history of words and how there is almost always a counterpart in English that ties back to Italian. I had never encountered that method in any of the other ways I've tried to learn Italian.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Accelerated Learning Italian System?

I really loved all the backup material that comes with the audio. You see it, you hear it, you enjoy it, and the audio learning is never long enough to be boring.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

The voices are authentic and the spoken Italian is excellent. The stories are fun and believable.

Excellent Program with Italian and English

What did you like best about this story?

It starts in Italian and then the English Translation. The focusing exercises are Really Great to Prepare you mentally to absorb unconsciously the lessons. I'm impressed with the results. Mi Piace Molto Bene!!! Great, Great Program, Grazie Mille -Thank You!!!

Excellent audio AND book (downloadable)

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this audiobook and book to everyone. I just purchased it, looked through the content of the downloadable book and did my first lesson (awesome!) The book IS downloadable -- I see a couple of reviews from people not knowing where to get the book but there is a place to click on to download from that first page and you can download and open it in ipad). It combines many different learning techniques with Baroque music that helps you learn even better. There are grammar lessons in the book along with an interesting storyline that you can listen to and read in both English and Italian, with sound effects, and much, much more. I am LOVING this already, and I have been trying to learn by different methods. Read about Super Learning (which Americans seem to call Accelerated Learning) and you will see that this product follows that method of learning, which is excellent. After about 25 minutes, it says to stop and wait until the next day so that your mind absorbs everything, or, if you can't wait, to take at least a 10-minute rest. It is so fun learning this way that I don't want to stop.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

I like the way they use a soft voice, louder voice, commanding voice, etc. with the background music, just what I was looking for (have done reading on the Super Learning--or suggestopedia-- method).

Any additional comments?

Well worth my money. I do not normally write reviews, but when I saw the 2 negative comments about not knowing where to get the book, I felt I had to write that it is downloadable and that this is a great teaching method.

No one. Without the book it is no good to anyone!

How can you bilk your customers by selling only half of a product. I call that fraud!

Needs the written material!

The audiobook can not be used without the written material. It seems I am not the only one who is unable to find it...
