Good story, exceptionally produced.
A fun sci-fi mystery romance. Yep all that and noodles too. Michael Lesley is a great narrarator. The story had both poignant and laugh out loud moments. Standout for me the fact that production addressed the problem of distinguishing between dialogue and interior thoughts that pops up in audiobooks

I want more!
I loved every minute of this phenomenal story and hope the author continues giving us tales from this universe. It managed to make me laugh as well as break my heart.

*Blows a kiss into the sky* for Tristol
I finished this all in one go. Tristol is such a great character, it’s a treat every time he opens his mouth. The descriptions of how he interprets the world around him is fascinating, and I really liked the inclusion of his native language bleeding over to his ‘english’. The narrator’s voice acting for him is super endearing too. I’d kill to see more from this universe and its characters.
My one issue with the narration was how fast he was talking. I had to set it to 0.75x because I was missing a lot of information.

Now one of my favorite Carriger books
Tris is so unique for a humanoid-type alien yet strangely fits into dreams of cuddly-wuddly romance. I couldn’t help but want to help him fit in, learning our rituals to our idioms.
Michael Leslie, as always, does a fantastic job bringing our characters to life. He’s good at making up and maintaining different pitch for each character we come across.
It’s overall an enjoyable read. Well, enjoyable if you enjoy gay romance as well as the added twist of murder mystery to solve. There’s also the draw of the amazing Ms Carriger’s writing. As always it’s a treat to be a part of her universe. I have all her books (blush) and I’d actually rank this one in the top numbers with the Parasol Protectorate.

Intergalactic Romance!
Another literary triumph by Gail Carriger! Science fiction, comedy, drama, mystery, and some well-crafted erotica as well. Michael Leslie outdoes himself with so many unique characters. I delighted in this unique and thoughtful masterpiece.

One of the best books I've ever read

Amazing World Building
This was such a fun , sexy and entertaining story. The world building is rich , layered and massive. Even though, there's a lot of really steamy , sexually explicitly intimate times and laughter galore , the plot and narrative of the story is serious and very real. I love how compassionate and empathic this story was written.
Michael Lesley narration was perfect! It was an absolute delight , listening to his portrayal of Tris and all other characters.
