The funkers book is a good listen

Big wrestling fan from 1980 to about 2010. Loved this book! Loved hearing the stories from the road, the different territories, and just Terry’s opinions on it all. The narrator was very good. I would definitely recommend this book to wrestling and even non wrestling fans. Thx for the memories Terry

great book for wrestling fans

So much better than other books on the subject. This is the real story told by a real man. Not someone after the fame and the life style, someone who was brought up in it, who understands it for what it is. And who never lost sight of what matters. I had tremendous respect for Terry Funk before and I have even more for him now.

Very good!!!

This book was very entertaining and informative about the wrestling business. I think I might just have to start listening to it again! I wish Funk himself would have narrated the book himself.

Great Stories and Straight Talk From a Legend

Terry Funk has risen in my estimation over the years to become my favorite wrestler all-time along with Roddy Piper. Funk holds the edge regarding in-ring performance while Piper holds the edge in promos. Both have participated in numerous outrageous antics that have kept me entertained for decades.

This book is a candid look at life as a professional wrestler. Funk doesn't refrain from revealing the less glamorous aspects of the business. Bad payoffs, long drives, and countless injuries are part of the game but it doesn't obscure his obvious reverence for his chosen profession.

Several parts of this book are laugh out loud funny. The stories contain lessons on life applicable to everyone.
