About this listen

Terror Hordesman came.

With flowers. Red roses. He came, he marked me, and he moved into my house. This is bad. Very bad. Because, I'm funding the Betaren project he's trying to destroy. If he finds out, I fear, he'll end me.

Interesting book and great narrators

I just began with this series and book 1, Hunger, yesterday. I'm enjoying the premise and the characters. The narrators are very good, but I especially enjoy Ava Lucas's work.

Humorous alien male/human female series

Fun next installment in the Hordesman series, next gen sequel to the Alpha Horde series.
Arkan aka Terror is the son of Loven and Kingsley from Alpha Breeds. He is keeping things running in San Diego while Raven aka Hunger is in Mexico hunting down the false Regha prince.
Terror is camped in the mayor’s house when in stomps Tabitha demanding the use of the property for her birthday party, as contracted with the mayor. Lo and behold Tabby has been hiding her status as an Omega, and is in the thick of the Betaren crisis. Terror doesn’t stand a chance.
Narration by Bennett and Lucas is pretty good. Having both male and female voices adds to the written story.
4 stars for It’s Great!

Had me at the song

Funny and fast paced. I loved how each book in the series brings in different races not only from space but on earth.

What a storyline

This book was pretty good; lots of action and a great storyline. Narrators did a great job with the characters. This one is my favorite so far.

So many great lines, I had to listen TWICE!

Laughed myself sick in places. Plus scenes that are HAWT! The narrators are great, especially with the throwaway lines that make you snort and grab to rewind and listen again. You can tell this is building to an awesome next book, but it works beautifully on its own. I wasn't sure about the heroine at the start, but then her story arc kicked in and she went from (SPOILER ALERT!) whiney to wow!

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Must read/listen

I loved this book and the entire Hoardsmen series thus far. You will not be disappointed with this. I love the narration. It just made the characters come to life and I am transported into another world.

Lots of world building, missing some of the fun

This book is heavy on the world building side. Lots of characters (new and old) so it can get confusing and a bit distracting at times.

This story seemed more like the setup for the next two books so I'm hopeful they will be more creative and bring the heat back.

Would still recommend it and look forward to the rest of the series.
