Terra selbst wurde von unbekannter Macht vor Jahrhunderten gegen einen nahezu identischen Planeten ausgetauscht und ist seither verschwunden; mittlerweile gilt die Erde als Mythos. Doch Perry Rhodan und seine Gefährten haben die Hoffnung nicht aufgegeben, die ursprüngliche Heimat der Menschen wiederzufinden. Sie sind mit der RAS TSCHUBAI, einem riesigen Raumschiff, in die ferne Galaxis Ancaisin gereist. Dort hoffen sie, hinter das Geheimnis der verschwundenen Erde zu kommen.
Im Jahr 2046 Neuer Galaktischer Zeitrechnung - es entspräche dem Jahr 5633 nach Christus - gibt es endlich eine klare Spur: Die Raumfahrer haben Zugang zur sogenannten Zerozone gefunden. Dahinter, so hoffen sie, verbergen sich die Erde und der Mond. Perry Rhodan landet in einem ungewöhnlichen Kosmos, wo neue Herausforderungen auf ihn warten. Aber dort erreicht er auch TERRA...
