He’s been lucky enough to visit many Mexican tequila distilleries in Jalisco, including Don Julio, Patron, Espolon, Casa Noble, El Tosoro, Volcan de mi Tierra, Altos, and Cazadores. He is also the author of the book Cask Strength: the Story of the Barrel, the Secret Ingredient in Your Drink (Matt Holt, 2023), and two travel guides for spirits lovers: Islay Distilled and Cognac Distilled, as well as a companion volume to this, Bourbon for Beginners.
