Country Girl, City Boy

I sort of liked this story but I didn't really connect with the characters, especially the hero. I thought him to be spoiled and way too pushy, he wanted to change her, citify her (is that a word)?

They met in the middle of the road, only narrowly avoiding a collision and from the first moment when our hero sees our heroine, he's instantly smitten. The two of them are like chalk and cheese so very different, he's a rich guy from the city. Whilst she's country to her core and likes nothing more than living her life in the country. She loves swimming and not in a heated swimming pool, loves to fish, her best friend's a guy and she just wants to be considered one of the guys! But then our Hero who is definitely not country, decides to show the heroine just how feminine he thinks she is, yet he wants her to dress differently, why? As for her best friend well, he just has to go because our hero doesn't share, is he so insecure that he has to cut her off from everything and everyone?

As I said I didn't connect with the characters at all, the story had the potential to be better I thought. Turning to the narration, I think the only thing I can say is I didn't enjoy listening to Moriah Rosales when she tried to vocalise our hero or any male characters. Her countrified female accent was OK but her delivery of the story was in my opinion without inflexion, it was flat and too slow.

Love pond

Nick and Daisy

A jaded billionaire big city man and an innocent nature loving girl meet on a lonely stretch of highway. An insta-love tale of obsession and romance that will have you swooning. The narrator had a fairly good take on the accent; but, her inflection and lilting way of speaking was a little distracting.

Awesome book

This was a really sweet yet steamy book. I enjoyed the age gap, possessive, jealous manners between Daisy and Nick and overall greatness of this book. Moriah Rosales did a an awesome job with the accents and personalities of Daisy and Nick.

Great story

loved it ! Emma Bray writes a strong, steadfast Alpha male character. she never disappoints. she's one of my favorite authors. I usually prefer when there are both male and female narrators to read each point of view. but, I didn't mind so much with this story because I loved this narrator. She has a soft spoken voice which was perfect for this southern character. Overall, great read. I really liked this love story. I'll listen again, just to hear the narrators soft southern accent.

You've never seen a nerd so sexy. Nick is a tech billionaire moving back to his parents home town. Daisy is a tomboy from a small town. Will Nick let her quick temper deter him from taking what we his?

One look is all it took

Almost hitting her with his car because of a turtle. A wonderful alpha male with a headstrong girl who won’t just give in. Wonderful HEA, no ow/Om drama, no cliffhanger or cheating.

Smooth

Emma, yes. Audio book I love to read along to? Yes again! So cool, I'm reading and I hearing the story in my ear-my personal favorite way to enjoy an audio experience. So cool that such a talented author is doing this. I love Emma's works, so good and so happy! These two are great and they are cute together.

So different, but totally meant to.be

I love their differences. They are just great on their own, but when they get together-love it. You are free to be who you want and that is the best way to be loved. He is a sexy man to her femininity and I am happy they see that they are great the way they are. A great message and a great story. I discovered Emma little while ago and she has her own section in my Kindle app for a good reason. Awesome concept and great story! Can't wait to see what is next!
