For Meredith Gale, ending her life seems like her only choice, and that choice is the reason she’s dangling by her fingertips from a bridge high above the freezing water of the San Francisco Bay. But someone or some thing has other plans for Meredith, and as her fingers slip from the cold steel of the bridge, a disembodied voice asks her a simple question: “Candidate 13: Do you wish to be saved?” Realizing her mistake too late, Meredith screams “Yes!” and instantly finds herself transported to a mysterious island, alongside hundreds of other Candidates like her.

Fasted Paced fun Read
This was one of the first audio-books that I listed to. It was very fast paced not always believable but that is the beauty of fiction. Now one of my favourite authors.

Thrill After Thrill
Loved Temple is a thrill after thrill set in Peru, we are introduced to William Rice as the main character. It's a fast paced action filled listen of good and evil forces and an idol. You can't beat Reilly for a great action story. Sean Mangan again is such a fantastic narrator he makes listening such a pleasure.

Indiana Jones action story
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I recommend this to anyone who loves a fast-paced Indiana Jones type adventure.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Temple?
William Race wrestling with the caimans (crocodiles). The rapas (big cats) are pretty cool as well.
Have you listened to any of Sean Mangan’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Sean Mangan is an excellent narrator and has done brilliant job with the Matthew Reilly books I have listened to so far.
