Wish I Had This Sooner

I got this for my teenager, but I ended up reading it too. It breaks down money in a way that actually makes sense—budgeting, saving, even investing. I love that it doesn’t talk down to teens but gives them real, practical advice they can use right away. My kid is already more mindful about spending, and we’ve had great conversations about finances. If you want to set your teen up for financial success, this is a solid choice.

The audio quality is great, yet there is subtle background static with high volume. It would be excellent if it could be cleaned up a bit.

Road blocks not financial challenges is a good mindset suggestion. Limited money manifest was big change for me to adopt. Awareness of mindsets that sabotage is a game changing tool. Scarcity Vs. Abundance, there is enough for everyone and gratitude are great thought patterns to adopt. Scarcity mindset gives birth to fear, anxiety, lack, undervalue and worth--who would choose that life? Waterfall method to channel resources is good education. Crowd funding platform is news to me. Wall Street #7 investing tech tools were described well to make a personal choice.

I love reading these types of books for myself and for the young adults in my family. You can always learn something new to apply to your situation. I grabbed this one because my nieces/nephews are in this age group and they are starting early on saving and already thinking how can they set themselves up for success. So Smart! This book is great because it helps them with budgeting and how to save for expensive things in the future and for the things they want now. The author even gets into the basics of investing which is great! The real world senarios and stories are the favorite of this book! Get this for the young adults in your life!

I preview listening to this book over the weekend because I wanna give it to my kids. I have a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old and I’ve been concerned about the lack of education they receive in school about finance, budgeting, money, essentials, and I was looking to supplement something for them. This audiobook is fantastic and exactly what I had hoped it would be. It’s filled with solid information that all teens need as they transition into adulthood to learn financial responsibility.
