"Morrissey's research into the pearling industry and the history of Broome is formidable ... she tells a good story." (The Sydney Morning Herald)

. . . and I learned so much, too! A friend with considerable expertise in the area encouraged me to listen to Tears of the Moon because I wanted to learn more about pearls. The novel didn’t disappoint in that respect but I got SO much more. Too much to enumerate but suffice it to say that this novel is completely engrossing, mainly due to its characters, who you really come to care about I couldn’t wait to hear what would happen next. Highly recommended.

A thoroughly absorbing saga. . .

A wonderful story. A bit too many coincidences in parts but heartwarming characters.
I guess it's a bit of Mills & Boone romance, but with an historic base story.

I want to visit Broome
