Mission: Her Protection

When Rowan’s Arctic research team pulls a strange object out of the ice in Northern Canada, things start to go wrong…very, very wrong. Rescued by a covert black ops team, she finds herself in the powerful arms of a former special forces marine with scary gold eyes. A man who vows to do everything and anything to protect her.

Mission: Her Rescue

When archeologist January’s plane is shot down over the Guatemalan jungle, she knows she’s being hunted for the invaluable Mayan artifacts she’s carrying. Only one man and his team can save her, the covert black ops Team 52, and the distrusting former CIA operative who drives her crazy.

Mission: Her Security

Kinsey loves her job as logistics manager for the covert black ops Team 52. She loves all the team…especially big, gruff mountain man Smith, even if he isn’t interested in her the way she’d like. But when she’s kidnapped by dangerous criminals after a deadly artifact, her survival depends on the big former SEAL who’ll risk anything to get her back.

Each book in this action-packed military romance series can be enjoyed as a stand-alone.

Amazing

Love the character development, plot, and of course romance. The narrator is so easy and fun to listen to and a good fit.

surprised twists and turns.

I most liked how the couples fell in love when at times it seemed like an impossible match.

Three complete stories in one audiobook!

Mission: Her Protection
This book needed to be written. Since this is book one of a potential series, it therefore follows that THESE books need to be written. Rowan is a scientist heading a team working way up in the northernmost reaches of Canada, near the Arctic Circle. They discover a 5000-year-old artifact in the ice, and shortly thereafter, dangerous things start happening. Team 52, led by Lachlan, shows up to help.

Every member of Team 52 has been physically scarred somehow. One is missing an eye, one is missing a limb, one has a scarred face; you get the drift. Yet, together, they form a formidable team that is making a difference in the lives around them. Every human has their own scars: some are visible, while others are not. That is why these books need to be written—because the characters are all so relatable. It’s nice to read a book where the characters aren’t perfect specimens of humanity. That’s nice to dream about, but reality doesn’t work that way for most of us. Seeing physically scarred characters get an HEA ending gives everyone just a bit of hope.

No spoilers here, but there is an HEA ending on the horizon, although it seems like a stretch during the first part of the book. Rowan faces several challenges on her own as well. This book was a joy to read. It was tense at times, but overall, it ranks up there as one of my favorites by this author!

Mission: Her Rescue
Seth Lynch, a member of Team 52, is pretty sure that January James is an outspoken harpy but is upset when he thinks she has been killed in a plane crash. It turns out the plane didn’t crash; it was shot down, in order for some ruthless people to get their hands on the dangerous and ancient artifacts that January was trying to turn over to Team 52. January James is a wonderful heroine in this story. She’s tough, independent, determined, resourceful, and capable. She is the only survivor when her plane crashes in the jungle, and although she is injured, she has survived and hidden from the ruthless mercenaries hunting for her, for 24 hours while waiting for help to arrive from Team 52. They finally do find her and have to evade the mercenaries and make their way to a pickup zone, where they can finally escape the jungle.

The pacing is incredible in this story. It was difficult to put down, because something new was constantly happening. The world that this author creates is incredible and believable, in spite of the fact that there are paranormal elements in the story. Seth and January are attracted to each other but have stayed far away from each other until now. After spending time together while fighting to survive the jungle mercenaries, they develop a fledgling friendship and deeper respect for each other. They have several bumps in their road to an HEA ending, but they do eventually get there. I have become a huge fan of this author, and eagerly await every new book she writes.

Mission: Her Security
Kinsey Beck has been kidnapped by some terrible people, and Smith Creed is going stir-crazy trying to figure out where she is being held and why. It turns out that her kidnappers want a certain artifact that Team 52 has in storage. Kinsey is used to fighting for everything in life, and she is used to being rejected, as she is the product of emotionally abusive and terrible parents. Smith was fooled by his high school sweetheart, who only wanted to party after she got the ring on her finger. Thus, he is wary and she is as well. Nevertheless, they have a bond and a connection, even if Smith hasn’t let it progress anywhere. The whole team comes together to help find Kinsey; unfortunately, there is an entire group of terrible people who want the artifact that Team 52 has. And they aren’t stopping in their quest for it.

As usual, these stories have multiple dangerous situations, competent alpha males paired with strong females, tense situations, and rescues just-in-time! When Smith and Kinsey finally accept the inevitable, it is explosive!

The narrator for this entire box set is Stella Bloom. She does an amazing job of bringing each story to life. Listeners can tell a woman is voicing a male character, but she does it so well, that it works. She is able to give distinct voice characterizations to each protagonist, and she uses inflections and other tools to keep the story flowing flawlessly. This is an incredible set of stories and it provides many hours of delightful entertainment.

Full action and some spice

The story itself is really interesting - a mix of science fiction meets plausibility of ancient technology. With lots of danger, action and movie-esque scenes.

Her Protector:

An interesting story. I'm not certain I buy into the main premise of the team, but I liked the story in any case. It is all fiction, after all. The characters are unique and likable. There were several instances of foreshadowing for me to look forward to exploring more of.

The narration was excellent and kept me on my toes.

Her Rescue:

I admit I skipped through parts of this story. I'm not much into jungle stories and had trouble getting past it. I do enjoy the characters from Team 52. This is the second story I've listened to of theirs but have run into them with Norcross & Sentinel Security stories.

The narration was good, but I have to admit to liking the dual narration better.

Her Security:

A action packed story. I liked Kinsey since meeting her in 'Her Protection. I was happy to get her & Smiths story. With her the cup always seems to be half full, even when things aren't looking the best. Smith is just intense, really intense. They make a good team.

I love how Team 52 works & plays together. They have each other's back always.

The narration was on point.

Hunter and Rowen

Out of the 3 books so far Hunter and Rowen are my favorites. I didn't care for January's story . Smith and Kinsey was good . In January's book it was to much arguing I like books that are fun with adventure and relaxing to listen to . January's was not relaxing to me at all I was agavated most of the time.

I've listen to most of the books in the series at least once and enjoyed them all ( except January's ) . The Treasure Hunters Security was also a good series , So other then the one the rest are worth a credit.

Team 52

A covert, do what needs to be done, military trained group protecting humanity by finding and safeguarding powerful ancient technology.
Each book is a standalone in the same interconnected setting, so every new book adds to the richness of the whole experience. Action, suspense, thrills, romance, and some really cool history/ mythology connections.
