So Sexy and Loving!

I had never listened or read anything by this author, so I had no idea what to expect. But, this performance and book blew me away! This is the first book of its kind I've ever read: boy meets boy, boy loses boy, and then boy gets boy back for an HEA. The way it is told in flashback sequences is unique as well! There's a sneak peak at the next book in the series too, which I'm super excited to listen to!

Second Chances

I enjoyed reading this debut novel previously and now I also enjoyed listening to the audiobook. Sion Hardd is a new to me narrator but I appreciated the performance.

Promising start to series

This is my first Elamy Pride and Sion Hardd story. I went into this one with little expectations since I didn't know the author or the narrator and they did me well. For a short story, there is a lot to it and I enjoyed every minute of it. Sion Hardd did a great job narrating. I though Pete was a little over the top, but I have a feeling that will play out in the next story. Which I am eagerly wanting to jump into.

Good second chance story!!!

I enjoyed this debut novel! I'm eager to read more in this series.

Although second chance is not my fave trope, this was a really lovely version of it. These boys needed to be together again - they are such a good match and I enjoyed getting to know them. I admit to some tears in the reading of this sweet book.

Audiobook update: Sion Hardd is a new-to-me narrator and it’s great having a fresh voice! This narrator did a nice job with both POV and I enjoyed his pleasant voice. The emotional moment were done well and the voices were fairly distinct.

2nd chance

Very interesting take on 2nd chance! I was invested, intrigued and ended up loving it! I AM SO EXCITED FOR PETE’s book. Also the narroration was 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I love how the narrator did different voice

The performance added such a layer to an already great story. I already want the next story out!!!

I Enjoyed It

I really enjoyed this book. The storyline was interesting and kept me hooked. I really liked both Ryan and Drew and could actually relate to both of them; I see where both are coming from. Ryan feels abandoned and unimportant in his workaholic boyfriend's life, who encourages him but is never there. Drew is running ragged and killing himself to make partner at the law firm where he works. As soon as he does it, he can finally take things easy and devote himself to his and Ryan's future. But Ryan has been in a bad relationship before, and one disappointment too many finally breaks him. Drew finally achieves his goal, but has lost the love of his life in the process. Can he win Ryan back or is it too late? Can Ryan risk his heart to give Drew another chance, or should he just walk away, heal, and move on with his life?

Sion Hardd did a good job bringing this story and these characters to life. Well paced and I could tell the characters apart. This was both my first book by this author and my first time listening to this narrator. I would definitely check out more of their work. 4 stars.

Hooked

Okay so I completely loved the story. I was hooked!
Loved how they both took the time apart to realize what was wrong in their relationship and tried to fix it.
Drew didn’t realize how lonely Ryan was feeling. He was always so busy with work trying to make partner that he wasn’t putting Ryan and their relationship first. When Ryan decides to leave Drew tries his best to win him back. Drew realizes things need to change and Ryan realizes that he needs to communicate his feelings more.
I loved reading/listening how they work things out the dates how they still have that connection and chemistry.

"Is my damage so deep that I can't see past his mistakes?"

The first little bit was just heartbreaking! Why don't people communicate anymore???? This book was beautiful and kind of poetic. I also really enjoyed that art and Marvel was woven into the story. Sion was the perfect voice for Ryan and Drew. I loved the sneak peak into book 2 and I'm really looking forward to Pete and Gavin's shenanigans.

This book was great, we have Drew a very successful lawyer who is working himself ragged trying to become partner.

His boyfriend Ryan is a tattoo artist who adores Drew, but feels neglected. Tbh this is a story about a couple who doesn’t communicate and just assumes the other knows what’s going on lol typical men.

There is an element of a person who is trying to sabotage them, but I think it’s not a huge factor.

These two idiots in love must learn to communicate! You will get groveling and lots of funny moments and super funny side characters. I love Pete and want his own book!

Loved it and all the marvel references. I cannot wait to read the other books!
