Oh my goodness!!!!

I really enjoyed listening to Tangled Up by Gina A Jones and Cheyenne Rivers. The intensity of this story was so good and kept me glued to my kindle. I loved the characters of Evie and Kolbe. They both had loss in their lives and each of them had secrets. Their chemistry was so intense and forbidden. I am so intrigued as to what will happen next in their story. Kolbe's character is not what you would expect. He has a dark and clouded past that haunts him to this day. Evie's character is unsure of herself and she has been hurt by the one that she thought she loved. The narrators of this story are fantastic. The story is told in Evie's POV. I received an ARC of this story and I am voluntarily choosing to leave this review. It left me hanging on til the very end. I would highly recommend this book and series. It was fantastic!!!!

Great Story & Narration🎧Riveting & Heartfelt!

Wow, this first book of the “Tangled” series grabbed my attention right from the start and held it captive straight to the end, an ending that had me screaming at the decision the lead character made, that was not something I expected and I sure hope it does not happen. Evie Westfield dumps her cheating ex fiancé, an ex who is in with her family, so she thinks it is best to get away from them all and heads to Kansas to start a new job. Driving thru some stormy weather lands her in a ditch in the middle of nowhere, cold and lost, was the last thing she remembered before waking up in someone’s bed in a cabin. A disgruntled and grumpy someone who did not want to bother exchanging names, Evie found him to be intriguing and since she was stuck there, she wanted to make the best of her time, which included taking advantage of his good looks and hot cowboy body. When the storm cleared, she found him gone and her car in front of her cabin, she went on with her life, ready to interview and start a new job on a ranch. Except the person who owns the ranch, Kolbe Sutton, is the stranger she spent the weekend with and he told her then that he did not want to see her again and there was no way he was going to hire her. She returns home, deals with her parents, her ex and lands a great job at West Fork Whiskey. It turns out that Kolbe was not done with her and he places himself in her life again and there is not much she could do about it without jeopardizing her job. There is never a dull moment in this wonderfully plotted story and it has the perfect balance of drama, angst, some twists and turns, heartfelt emotions, and a steamy encounter and romance. Gina A. Jones and Cheyenne Rivers, thanks for this great story, I am looking forward to what happens next.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, M.K. Blackwood, Connor Crais and Brook Chambers were the perfect cast to bring these characters and story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, gave each a voice that was fit that character’s persona and were believable in every role they played. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen.

Blinded by Lies

I like the storytelling even if I despise the cheating component, no matter why or how conniving the wife is. Well, really, it's as if none of the males in this book have much control in that arena.

I'm interested in seeing where this goes. Kolbe seems to have bitten off more than he can chew with Lucy, but his attraction to Evie is undeniable. Her attraction is even deeper, so why she let's her ex-fiance remain in her life is beyond me. With any luck, Richard and Lucy will get permanent kicks to the curb... soon (but it won't be soon enough).

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators are Brooke Chambers, M.K. Blackwood, and Connor Crais. They are a good combination, and I love the duet narration.

This story had me all tangled up with all the twist and rurns it was my first story by Gina i enjoyed this .
I really enjoyed both thr narrates.

Great!

Well that was one that I didn’t expect. A lot of emotions in the story and I really wanted more. The way life deals with things is that sometimes we forget that these things happen. The narration of it was super.

Crazy

Why? I don’t understand how this story is supposed to be ok. Will not be getting the next book.
