I’m just supposed to be passing through town. I’m in a hurry to put some much-needed distance between me and my hometown, and I may have been speeding. So, I guess the sheriff has a good reason to pull me over. But he definitely doesn’t have a reason to arrest me.

Entertaining shifter romance
While this book was entertaining I felt like it had a weak storyline. It was also a little more into the paranormal world than I typically like. While Allen’s other books in the RMBC world the MC’s have supernatural abilities they still straddle the paranormal line in my opinion. I just felt like Raptor’s shifting abilities removes the realistic feel and in my case detracts from the storyline. The narration was just okay. Kylie Stewart sounded like she was speed reading with no inflection.
