An gritty unique spin on a shifter universe.

The creativity in the story line, took me by suprise, its a completely different take on a shifter world and the creativity in developing such a world deserves praise. It was a great listen and would reccomend my only complaint would be that it would have been nice to have two narraters. Thanks for a great audiobook!

Interesting take on Werewolves.

Not sure if there will be a second book, but I hope so. Entertaining and a great listen. Great narration. Look forward to more.

A Solid werewolf tale

Nothing spectacular, but if you are in theood for a solid werewolf tale to listen to it's ok.

A great take on the Werewolf genre!

NOTE: I am the Narrator of this title...This may be odd seeing a review from the narrator, but I would like to make an exception here. While I certainly hope you appreciate my narration, I would like to focus on the story here. I have narrated many titles in the past, but seldom do I feel as connected to a story and its characters. Doug's take on the humanity of the werewolves as well as the unique take on their transformation (from the werewolf's POV) is exceptional. Seldom do I rush to an end of a story, because I like to react in a very fresh manner to what I am reading...but there was an immediacy to finishing this story and I needed to see what happened to the characters I was getting close to. Enjoy!

Delightfully Original With A Jaw Dropping Premise!

Never have I experienced a Werewolf story like this! Creative and original don’t begin to describe “Tamed”, a truly horrific, frightening, dark and disturbing tale! All that said, Could I stop listening, no. Did I even for a second entertain that notion? NO!!! With a jaw dropping original premise so delightfully far from what would EVER be considered mainstream, “Tamed” is the best I’ve listened to in a long time! The writing is outstanding! The flow is perfect! The balance between horrific and “gut punch human feeling” is genius! The characters, these beautifully original, artfully crafted, real feeling characters are astounding! They had me in tears at points, seething with anger at others, but at ALL times FEELING as I came to know them! I didn’t want the story to end. I wasn’t ready to let some of them go. The scene setting was also perfectly on point, providing any extra information needed to fully understand the characters and the story, without ever detracting or bogging down the story. Truly gifted, beautifully clear, consistent and engaging narration breathed feeling and life into the author’s words; making these characters, this unbelievably frightening and emotional tale come truly ALIVE! Listening to this story was a fantastic experience and I loved it! Five stars across the board!

Fantastic spin on werewolves. I’d love to see it become a mini series on Netflix or Amazon Prime.
