Five stars across the Board, a Rarity!

I like to leave my opinion but I usually have after thoughts: Was the main characters as good as I said; Was I too critical of the authors ability; Was my interpretation of the action in the crash landing too tame; Am I being juvenile because I won’t tolerate vulgar,nasty language? But the day has come! None of these has happened with Talon! It was all the things I want to listen to: Adventure through blood ‘n guts battles, harrowing escapes, underlying mystery trying to deduce the culprits, action in great fights and escapes, NO sewer mouths, two well rounded main characters, and of course a female protagonist that was the ultimate warrior! To entertain me, keep the psychos, dark characters, and the subhuman beings in the closet. That’s not my idea of fun or good times! Talon was both AND was narrated by a true performer who enhanced the book. Too many times I’ve had a monotone reader that spoiled a good plot and ruined a great story line. This can be the difference between a successful book and the unemployment office for a budding author! So to state it simply, shell out a credit and buy Talon. I haven’t exaggerated!

Good listen

An enjoyable book filled with interesting characters that will keep the listener entertained. I hope other audio listeners will take the time to give this book a perusal. 😀😁😀😁

pretty good

I got this out of curiosity. Honestly expected this to be a brass bustia' story. It's not. Our MC does fight, but she thinks about it. I enjoyed the story. I rated story only 3 stars because over sites: MC trips over a root, ankle gets hit w a sword. MC walks away w/o apparent problems. Our MC and her charge go running through a wooded country side barefoot. After several hrs it's stated charge's feet are bleeding. They put on shoes and walk off. There are more things like this. In this particular story I could overlook them because narration is excellent

The strength and resilience if the main character.

I enjoyed the action in this book. The maturity and thoughtful behavior of the heroine. There were no dull characters and never a boring moment.

It was good but...

It was a good book. solid. However, it's missing a lot of the little details and interactions that really pull you in. Plus, it feels like things just happen without preamble or details to say why.
