About this listen
Ready to lose yourself in a tale of MAGIC, BETRAYAL, and MYTHICAL MADNESS? Buckle up, because Tales of Witches and Wyverns is a dark, modern twist on the fairytale "Childe Rowland," set in present-day Wales. Meet Enid Davies. Just your average teen, right? Wrong. When she looks in the mirror, she doesn’t see a hero staring back—she sees the cursed daughter of a witch. And on her 16th birthday? Things go from weird to absolutely WILD.
Her best friend Dylan is snatched by the ruthless fae Queen Malagant. Time freezes. A portal rips open. BOOM. He’s gone. But Enid? She’s not about to sit back and let Malagant get away with it.
Armed with magical relics from King Arthur’s court and a little help from the legendary Merlin himself, she dives headfirst into Afallon—a world teeming with danger, secrets, and treacherous alliances. Her squad? A snarky, cruel prince and a fiercely loyal friend. Sounds solid, right? Except they’re both hiding secrets big enough to shatter worlds.
As Enid fights to rescue Dylan, she uncovers a darker truth: Afallon is on the brink of collapse. Saving her best friend might just mean saving two worlds. But can she survive the heartbreak, betrayal, and epic battles ahead? This isn’t just another fantasy listen—it’s THE fantasy listen.
If you’re into heart-pounding drama, futuristic magic, or wicked twists, this audiobook is your next obsession. So what are you waiting for? Click that “Buy Now” button, and join Enid on a high-stakes, coming-of-age adventure you’ll never forget. Magic awaits. Don’t miss your chance to step through the portal.

A magical adventure that combines emotions
Anyone who has ever wanted to explore a rich world full of legendary creatures, Tales of Witches and Wyverns is the book for you.
In this narrative, a girl whose seemingly ordinary existence will become an attempt to save her closest friend.
It will hook you and you won't be able to stop listening to it until the end.
What price are you willing to pay when the secrets of your own lineage could be the key to saving everything?
Ramsey strikes a fascinating balance: Afallon's landscapes vibrate with an almost tangible richness, full of details that paint a universe in which wyverns, fairies, and other mystical creatures not only exist, but have a history deeply intertwined with humanity.
Conversely, more intimate scenes — like Enid’s doubts about whether she can conquer daunting obstacles — offer a heartbreaking empathy that allows you to experience every stage of her progress.
Because of its establishment on universal themes like bravery, friendship and self-discovery, the young epic fantasy tale rocks as a read for readers of all ages. You want more when you finish the book, but also wonder and connection.
I'm looking forward to the puzzles and adventures that the next book in the series will offer. "Tales of Witches and Wyverns" is both entertaining and inspirational.

What a start to what promises to be a great series
I originally thought that this was going to be another ordinary fantasy audiobook... I was wrong!
Tales of Witches and Wyverns by S. Ramsey does a great job at setting up the scenes, the characters and their backgrounds.
The story follows Enid, who just turned 16, and her world is turned upside down when her best friend Dylan gets taken away by Malagant in a magical way in front of her. Enid grows so much in character throughout this story especially when she decided to go into this completely different world, which she knows nothing about, to save Dylan.
This audio books does an amazing job at describing every detail of this new world, the fae realm, its inhabitants, the different mythical creatures and their characteristics, the witches and their magic, and how all this is somehow interconnected with Enid's world.
Kim Pruitt does a great job at narrating this audiobook, by changing tones for different characters and creatures, changing accents for humans and for setting the mood for the whole audio book.
I would highly recommend this audiobook.

A Tale of Secrets, Betrayals and More
This audiobook is a dark reinterpretation of the fairy tale “Childe Rowland”. Enid must face her own fears as she attempts to rescue Dylan, facing betrayals and secrets along the way. While Kim Pruitt's narration is involving and captivating; her ability to differentiate the characters' voices and convey their emotions makes the listening experience even more interesting and kept me on the edge of the story from beginning to end, it's a nice story.

Amazing Audiobook - Movie Material!
A fast paced epic fantasy, Tales of Witches and Wyverns is a spellbinding start to the Tales of Afallon Isle series.
This audiobook invites readers into a spellbinding world where magic and peril intertwine seamlessly.
The tale centers on Enid, an ordinary teenager thrust into an extraordinary destiny when her best friend Dylan is kidnapped by Queen Malagant. Enid’s quest to rescue Dylan leads her to the magical land of Afallon, where she teams up with the legendary Merlin and two unexpected companions.
I loved Enid's character: so strong, confident, trustworthy, fearless and smart!
The narration is exceptional. The narrator’s voice brings the world of Afallon to life, making every scene immersive and every character distinct. The delivery captures the story’s emotional depth, from moments of heart-pounding suspense to the quieter, more reflective scenes. The narration adds a richness to this book that enhances the entire experience.
If there were 7 stars, I would have definitely given Kim Pruitt 7 stars!
This audiobook promises action from beginning to end so buckle up for a great adventure.
